ADOT says drivers should plan for overnight closures on I-40 as crews begin work on the Winona Bridge rehabilitation project. Eastbound I-40 will be closed from 8-pm tonight until 6-am tomorrow morning with the westbound lanes impacted Thursday and Friday nights. Drivers will use the on and off ramps to drive through the work zone. Townsend Winona Road will also be closed at I-40 while the highway closures are in effect. The closures are needed so crews can begin demolition work on the bridge. The entire project will be finished by this fall.
