Due to the number of fires in the state and the dry and hot conditions, many areas are now in Stage-2 Fire Restrictions. This includes the Prescott National Forest, Red Rock Ranger District and several local fire jurisdictions. Stage-2 restrictions ban any kind of burning on public lands and restricts the use of some tools.
