Charges dropped against Oregon men transporting medical marijuana

The Yavapai County Attorney’s Office dropped the charges against two men that were transporting medical marijuana through the county. Administrative Assistant Penny Cramer says 43-year old Christopher Tinsley and 52-year Gordon Peppers of Oregon were arrested in March during a traffic stop near Ash Fork. They were charged with illegal possession and transportation of over 400-pounds of marijuana. She says after tests were conducted on the marijuana, it was determined some of the load met medical grade marijuana standards while some of it didn’t. The men were released from jail in early April and the charges were dropped shortly after.
