Prescott adjusts sign codes in the city to help businesses during the pandemic

As part of Prescott’s ongoing efforts to support local business owners during the pandemic, City Manager, Michael Lamar placed a moratorium on the “temporary sign” code provisions. Enforcement of the code will be suspended until the Mayor withdraws the existing Proclamation of Emergency, allowing local restaurants, bars and other business the opportunity to advertise alternative services offered during this time. The City Council will take official action on this moratorium during their April 14-th meeting.
