East Perkinsville Road will be closed at Granite Creek on Sunday beginning at 5-am, for road repairs. Chino Valley Public Works officials say crews will install additional drainage culvert pipes and perform road repairs that are a result of the damage from recent flooding in the area. Officials say while this is not a permanent solution, the repairs will help keep the road more passable in future flood events until a more permanent solution can be funded. The work should take 1-day to complete.
