COVID-19 cases jump 157 overnight in Arizona

COVID-19 cases in Arizona jumped from 508 on Thursday to 665 today. Health officials say Yavapai County now has 8-positive cases. Five of the cases are in the Verde Valley area and 4 are in the Prescott/Quad-Cities area. 7 of the cases are senior citizens, the other two are adults. All nine cases appear to be travel-related with no evidence of community spread at this time. All of us should assume the virus is present in our community and take precautions. Maricopa County currently has 399-cases, Pima-102, Pinal-36, Coconino-41, Navajo-49, Apache-11, Yavapai-9, Graham-4, Yuma-4, Mohave-4, La Paz-2, Santa Cruz-2 and Cochise-2. There have been 13-deaths reported in Arizona.
