The Coconino County Health Department confirmed a death in the county caused by complications brought on by COVID-19. The individual was a male in his 50’s with underlying health conditions. Officials are working to identify and contact anyone who may have been in close contact with the man. The individuals will be asked to quarantine or isolate as necessary and will be monitored by public health for fever and respiratory symptoms. As of Tuesday, Coconino County had 18-confirmed cases of COVID-19. Social distancing and hygiene are still the best ways to keep the coronavirus from spreading.
