A 5-year old girl, seriously injured in a crash on Cornville Road Monady, has died from her injuries. YCSO spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says a 46-year old woman from Rimrock drove the wrong way on east Cornville Road near Kimberly Way in Rimrock. She crashed head-on with a pickup headed westbound. D’Evelyn says the girl is the daughter of the woman that was driving the wrong way and she was not in a child seat. Witnesses told deputies the vehicle the woman was driving was weaving earlier on Corville Road at Page Springs Road and crossed over the centerline several times. The woman admitted she may have fallen asleep at the wheel because she had taken some pain pills and used medical marijuana. Deputies located evidence of drug use in her purse along with medical marijuana prescriptions. Blood test results are pending.
