Cottonwood Police have installed speed awareness radar signs at Main and Yuma Street, Main and 8-th and Mingus and 14-th. Sgt. Monica Kuhlt says these locations were chosen based on police officer input and traffic concerns that have been brought to the Department’s attention. The signs were purchased through a grant that was obtained from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety last year. The signs do not have photo radar capabilities.
