The Yavapai County Education Service Agency participated in the Coats for Kids program this year. County Superintendent Tim Carter says they helped to distribute 108-boxes of coats to 27-district and charter schools throughout Yavapai County. A total of 750-coats were handed out. In addition the Prescott Noon Lioness Club donated several boxes of scarfs, winter caps, gloves, and mittens, many of which were made by club members.
