Sex offender kidnaps and assaults 15 year old Prescott girl

Prescott Police released further details into the kidnapping and assault of a 15-year old girl last Friday. Lt Jon Brambila says officers responded to a home on Oaklawn Drive on a report a person came home and found the girl hiding in their house. Detectives learned that 36-year old David Littlehale grabbed the victim as she was walking home from school. The victim was forced into a vehicle by Littlehale who assaulted the victim while speeding to his house. He continued to assault the girl at his house, refusing to let her leave. Littlehale caused significant and serious injuries to her face and eye. The victim managed to flee the house and hide inside a neighbor’s home. Littlehale searched for the victim, but was unable to find her. Brambila says Littlehale held up in his house for several hours until the SWAT team used gas to force him out. Littlehale is a registered sex offender through an interstate compact with the state of Oregon. Littlehale is currently charged with kidnapping, sexual assault and aggravated assault; additional charges are pending.
