Governor Doug Ducey ordered flags at all state buildings be lowered to half-staff until sunset today to honor Border Patrol Agent Robert Hotten. On Monday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported that Hotten died in the line of duty. All that was reported was that he was found unresponsive. He was a 10-year veteran of the U.S. Border Patrol.
