Clarkdale Police says the cause of the lock down at Clarkdale Jerome School this morning was due to a neighbor performing construction work with a gunpowder-loaded nail gun to drive nails into concrete at his residence. The school went into immediate lock down after teachers alerted the authorities upon hearing a noise that resembled gun shots. The school remained under lock down until the source of the noise was identified.
