Flagstaff Fire will be holding its free firewood giveaway on September 27-th at 8-am and Saturday from 10-am until the wood is gone. The event is located on the north side of West Route 66. The wood is ponderosa pine and was cut from a recent thinning project that helped to reduce wildfires. Chainsaws and trailers will not be allowed on site. Four wheel trucks are recommended.
