Prescott National Forest fire crews were successful with hand firing operations on the Pemberton Fire 13-miles north of Prescott. Crews are burning more today while also working on containment lines. So far the management fire has burned 223 of the 1,700-acres in the planned area. A Pemberton Fire Community Meeting will be held tonight at 5:30 at the Williamson Valley Fire Department on Williamson Valley Road. A Temporary Flight Restriction is in place over the fire. This is one of several fires being managed on the forest.
