The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors received several letters of interest to fill the vacancy on the Board of Supervisors caused by the resignation of District 5 Supervisor Jack Smith. A total of 4 people submitted letters of interest by the deadline. The candidates are Mary Mallory, Chris Howard, Bill Williams and Steven Irwin. The Supervisors will review and discuss the candidates during a special meeting Monday at 9-am at the County Building in Prescott. Comments on the candidates are being taken through noon tomorrow.
