More than 940,000 Arizonans will travel for the 4-th of July

AAA projects more than 940,000 Arizonans will travel over the Fourth of July holiday; representing a 4% increase from last year; a new state record. While Arizonans were greeted with $3 gasoline prices for Memorial Day, gas prices have fallen significantly in the last six weeks. AAA reported the average price for gasoline was $2.92 on Monday, falling more than 20 cents in a month. That’s good news for the 749,000 Arizonans planning to drive. About 104,000 Arizonans will fly to their destination this holiday, the most since 2007.
