Camp Verde man charged with stabbing another man multiple times

A Camp Verde man has been charged with stabbing another man multiple times with a knife. Cottonwood Police Sgt. Monica Kuhlt says Sunday night, officers responded to an area near the Black Canyon Day Use off Highway-260. A 36-year old man called 911 and reported that he had been stabbed several times in the stomach. The investigation revealed 32-year old Christopher Michael Ogle of Camp Verde stabbed the victim several times after the two of them got into an altercation. The suspect, victim and 3 others were traveling in the same vehicle to Cottonwood from Camp Verde to purchase alcohol. The victim and Ogle got into a verbal dispute on the way so the driver pulled over on Highway-260 to the access road that leads to the Black Canyon Day Use area near the river. The men exited the vehicle at which time the argument became physical and the victim was stabbed. Ogle fled the area, but was located later that morning and arrested. The victim was treated for his wounds and released from the hospital.
