DPS responded to a two vehicle collision on I-17 northbound near Black Canyon City Wednesday afternoon. DPS spokesman Bart Graves says the injury accident involved a BMW sedan versus a tractor trailer. Graves says the sedan struck the semi then hit a guardrail just after 2pm. Graves says a 70-year old female was flown to a phoenix area hospital for treatment of injuries. The names of those involved have not yet been released. One lane was blocked for several hours during the rescue operations and investigation.
