YSCO detectives have identified the man shot to death on Tuesday by his roommate. Spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says 59-year old Dominic Babel, of Wilhoit was shot and killed along with two dogs by 68-year old Terry Ingle. D’Evelyn says when deputies arrived, they were able to detain Ingle without incident and he admitted to shooting his roommate. He had also lit his wheelchair on fire and stabbed himself. He was taken to YRMC for treatment of injuries and then booked into jail on charges that included 1-st degree homicide.
