Two Flagstaff High School students chosen as Finalist for $75,000 National Art’s Competition.

Out of 500 applicants across the country, Flagstaff High School’s Graphic Design program was selected to advance in the Vans Custom Culture shoe design contest. Schools were charged to create their own artistic interpretation of Vans shoes. Two Flagstaff High School students, Alyssa Williams and Nicole Dougherty, collectively put over 65 hours into the creation of their designs. They have moved into the top 50 competing schools for a chance to win a $75,000 prize for first place or $10,000 for 2nd -5th places. Competition ends May 3rd.
