Cinco de Mayo weekend the Prescott Valley Police Department will staff extra officers to conduct targeted impaired motorist enforcement. These enforcement efforts address alcohol and drug-impaired driving. Extra enforcement efforts begin Friday, May 3rd and continue through Sunday, May 5th. Officials say don’t let impaired driving cause you to be a risk to yourself or others on the road. If you plan to drink, plan for a designated driver or use a ride service or Taxi. And don’t let your friends drive after drinking, not even one.
