Friday afternoon, Sedona Fire crews were called to the area of Slide Rock State Park for a single patient who had suffered traumatic injuries due to a fall. Officials say upon arrival, crews located a victim who had suffered injuries after jumping from an area near the bridge into the Oak Creek. Crews were able to access the patient and establish a rope system. Then they shut down the highway and extracted the injured person back up to the ambulance. The patient was then transferred to FMC.
