Valuable sports car bursts into flames in Sedona Monday.

Monday, Sedona Fire crews were called to Soldiers Pass Road and Highway 89A for a report of a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, crews found a small passenger vehicle with a fully engulfed engine compartment fire. The vehicle, a 1960 Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato, one of only two hundred ever produced, was a participant in the Copper State 1000 Rally and had a value of $380,000. Davis says the driver says the car was having engine troubles and a fuel leak may be what caused the sports-car to burst into flames.
