Yavapai County was ranked #1 in the nation for health factors, according to the County Health Rankings Report. The report looks at areas that affect people’s health in four categories including: health behaviors, clinical care, social and economic factors, and physical environment. The County Health Rankings report is the first to rank the overall health of counties in all 50 states – more than 3,000 of them – by using a standard formula to measure how healthy people are and how long they live.
