Precipitation amounts this year over last year between October 1-st and March 14-th

At this time last year, Arizona was in the midst of a serious drought and wildfires were popping up around the state. This year the story is very different. The National Weather Service says precipitation amounts this year from last are staggering in some locations. Since October 1-st, Flagstaff has recorded over 17-inches of precipitation compared with just over 4-inches last year. Payson has also recorded over 17-inches with just over 3-inches last year. Winslow nearly 6-inches this year compared with a quarter-inch last year. Prescott has received just under 8-inches with 1.37 recorded in 2018. Show Low is also much better off this year with just under 10-inches recorded; last year they had just over 2.5-inches of precipitation between October 1-st and March 14-th.
