Navajo County Sheriff’s Office seize six pounds of methamphetamine, guns, and money from Show Low man.

Tuesday, a Navajo County Canine Deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 260 in Heber-Overgaard. Chief Deputy Randy Moffitt says after speaking with the driver, 45-year old Michael Reyes, of Show Low, the Deputy became suspicious and asked for consent to search his vehicle. Reyes denied consent so the Deputy deployed his K9, Legend. The canine alerted to the vehicle indicating that there were drugs inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and approximately six pounds of methamphetamine, three guns, and approximately $6,000 dollars in cash. Moffitt says it was discovered that Reyes was on federal probation for weapons offenses and was also a prohibited possessor. He was booked into the Navajo County Jail for Transportation of Dangerous Drugs. Possession of firearms during a drug offense and by a felon.
