Multiple traffic accidents snarled Christmas traffic on I-17 Southbound near black Canyon City. DPS Spokesman Quentin Mehr says the first accident occurred just before 10-am. Mehr says the driver of a mobile home lost control of the vehicle causing it to roll over. Though no one was injured, the road was closed for over 3-hours for cleanup. Mehr says second collision occurred just before 7-pm a few miles north of the first. A passenger vehicle rear-ended another vehicle blocking one lane and creating an extensive back up when multiple vehicles stopped at the scene to assist. He says no one was injured in this crash either.
