Multi-vehicle accident in Prescott sends a motorcyclist to a Level 1 Trauma Center in Phoenix.

Tuesday evening, Prescott Fire received multiple 911 calls for a multi-vehicle accident including a motorcycle down on Highway 69 at Holiday Drive. Chief Don Devendorf says crews arrived to find one patient with significant lower leg injuries from his motorcycle going down. Devendorf says it appeared the two vehicles came in contact with one another which caused the motorcyclist to crash and the sportscar to spin out of control then crash. The driver of the sportscar was not injured. Traffic was backed up for around an hour so the medical helicopter could land and fly the 35-year-old male rider to a level one trauma facility in Phoenix.
