PANT cracking down on dealers and users of Fentanyl

The Partner’s Against Narcotics Trafficking Task Force or PANT has been investigating narcotics cases involving fentanyl over the last several months. YCSO spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says the team has made several arrests in connection with this dangerous drug. In June, Rick Arellano and Lester Suter, both 19 of Prescott Valley allegedly sold fentanyl laced pills to 18-year-old man who later died as a result of ingesting them. Both have been released pending possible court action. In early October, 21-year old Clayton Yost of Prescott Valley was arrested after a pursuit. A backpack he threw out of his vehicle contained various different drugs including 228-blue pills that contained fentanyl. He remains jailed. In late October, a Prescott man and woman were caught with fentanyl following a traffic stop on Highway-69. 28-year old Spencer Pool had been bragging about selling laced pills he had purchased in Phoenix. A Chino Valley man was caught with 55-blue pills laced with fentanyl and remains jailed. D’Evelyn says an investigation in Cornville in October also located 2-grams of fentanyl power. 30-year old Kalla Orden fell asleep in her car after allegedly acquiring and using heroin she purchased from 33-year old Adam Hale and 30-year old Rachel Fools. Orden fell asleep in her car and when her 9-year old daughter, Hale and Fools could not wake her, they called 911.
