126 more people sickened by recalled Tolleson ground beef products.

The CDC continues to advise consumers and retailers not to eat, serve, or sell recalled ground beef produced by JBS Tolleson, Inc., which is linked to a multistate outbreak of Salmonella infections. Since the last update on October 23rd, 126 more people have become ill, making a total of 246 people from 25 states. So far 59 people have been hospitalized, however, no deaths have been reported. On October 4, 2018, JBS Tolleson, Inc., recalled approximately 6.5 million pounds of beef products, including ground beef, because they may be contaminated with Salmonella. Recalled beef was produced from July 26th to September 7th and shipped to retailers nationwide.
