Yavapai County School Superintendent Tim Carter says a vacancy on the Clarkdale-Jerome Elementary School District Governing Board has been filled. The opening was created by the resignation of Becky O’Banion, who has relocated out of the school district. O’Banion’s term was scheduled to end on December 31st. Chad Backus who was selected to fill this seat as of January 1, 2019, was willing to step in early and will be appointed to the seat on November 13th. His term expires on December 31st, 2022.
