Prescott Valley Police issued as sex offender notification for residents living in the 3800 block of North Joan Court in Prescott Valley. In 1979, 59-year old Paul Wayne Barnes was convicted in Arizona of sexual assault. Also, in 1986, Barnes was convicted of attempted sexual assault and in 2008 for failure to register as a sex offender. Barnes is considered a level three offender or a high risk to the community.
