More local fire departments are sending crews to help fight the massive and deadly wildfires in northern and southern California.

Local fire departments are sending crews to help fight the massive and deadly wildfires in northern and southern California. The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management says around 150 firefighters and over 40 engines have either arrived or are heading to California to send supplies and battle the flames. Central Arizona Fire Marshal Rick Chase says they’ve sent 7 crew members to help with the fire-fight.Firefighters from Sedona, Pine-Strawberry, Tucson, Glendale, Globe and Daisy Mountain are also taking part in battling the flames in California. Firefighters are on a minimum 14-day assignment with the majority of them going to Southern California. Central Arizona and Sedona crews were sent to the Woosely Fire near Malibu and Ventura. There are currently 16 fires burning in California.
