Recently, a Navajo County traffic enforcement K9 Deputy stopped a vehicle on I-40 for an unknown violation. Officials say after the K-9 alerted on the vehicle a search was conducted and 158 pounds of meth, in one pound packages, and 3,000 disguised fentanyl disguised pills were found. Two suspects were taken into custody. Officials say there are multiple law enforcement agencies involved in this case and being that it is still under investigation, no more information will be released at this time.
