Negative toxicology tests mean further investigation is needed to find cause of death for 24 cattle in the Heber-Overgaard area

Recently, 24 cattle were discovered dead in the Heber-Overgaard area. NCSO officials originally said naturally occurring ecological poisoning may have been the cause, though further testing was necessary. The results of those toxicology tests came back negative. Officials says further investigation and testing from the State Veterinarian is pending to determine cause of death to the livestock.
