A threat involving an armed person at Prescott High School Friday, which was circulated on social media and included a photo, was determined to be a hoax. Prescott Police Lead Officer Dave Fuller says this incident occurred after the school was closed and involved Prescott Police as well as neighboring agencies. Officers spent several hours searching for the person in the photo until they determined the entire incident was a hoax. Officers spoke with the reporting party and many others in the area and learned that no threat ever existed.
