Routine traffic stop by YCSO Deputy results in arrest of Bank Robbery Suspect

Back in August, a YCSO deputy stopped a vehicle for a license plate light violation on I-17 and Orme Road. Spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn says a records check indicated the driver, 39-year old Seitaro Kline had a felony FBI warrant for bank robbery. Kline and his wife 34-year old Carrie Kline were wanted by the FBI in connection with the “Criss-Cross Bandits” bank robbery series. The Kline’s were responsible for a string of 9-bank robberies which took place throughout the Phoenix-Metro area between November 2016 and July 2018. D’Evelyn says during the traffic stop investigation, Seitaro was found in possession of heroin. The FBI was immediately notified and Seitaro was eventually booked into the Camp Verde Detention Center on the Bank Robbery warrant and Possession of a Narcotic Drug.  Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.
