Jerome Fire had a busy weekend responding to four motorcycle crashes

Jerome Fire had a busy weekend responding to four motorcycle crashes. Chief Rusty Blair says Saturday, crews responded to the top of the mountain on Highway 89A for a motorcycle down. Upon arrival, crews found a 36-year old male with road rash who refused transport. The same day, crews were called to the scenic overlook above Jerome for a motorcycle versus vehicle accident. Blair says a 30-year old male rider was passing when he collided with a vehicle. He says the man suffered an arm injury and refused transport. Sunday, Blair says they assisted Verde Valley Fire on another motorcycle accident, this one involved a mid-fifties male with serious injuries. He says crews were also called out on Friday for a report of a motorcycle down but upon arrival the patient and the bike were gone.
