On October 2nd, Cottonwood Police will host the 35th Annual National Night Out at the Children’s Park from 4:30pm to 7:00pm. Last year officials say they had over 1,800 families and children in attendance and are anticipating more than 2,000 participants this year, continuing to make it the largest National Night Out event in Arizona. National Night Out showcases the vital importance of police-community partnerships and citizen involvement in the fight to build a safe community. 16,000 communities from all 50 states, US territories, Canadian cities and military bases around the world participate in this yearly event.
