Tuesday morning, Sedona Fire responded to a vehicle fire on south bound 89A outside of Sedona, just past Lower Red Rock Loop Road. Fire Marshal Jon Davis says the driver of a passenger car was having mechanical trouble and pulled over on the side of the road. He says the driver was unaware that her car was on fire until she had stopped. Crew arrived and put out the flames which had extended 25ft into the brush. The fire is said to have started in the engine compartment. No injuries were reported.
