The Oak Creek Watershed Council will hold their annual end of summer Oak Creek Cleanup this Sunday from 9-to-noon and they’re looking for volunteers. Those interested should meet at the Indian Gardens parking lot on Highway-89A at 9-am. The event will start out with a short talk about Oak Creek, the ecology, high impact issues, and what the group does to solve the problems. Everyone will meet back at the parking lot just before noon to weigh the trash collected. If you plan on attending, dress appropriately. Cleanup materials will be provided.
