Slash Piles being burned again today on Mingus Mountain

Prescott National Forest fire managers are burning slash piles again today on Mingus Mountain. Crews burned 20-acres on Tuesday with another 20-acres being treated today. In all, 76-acres of piles are scheduled to be burned in the Brindle Pup Mine area. Smoke may be visible along Forest Road 132 near Brindle Pup Mine and Highway-169 near Cherry.
