Coconino National Forest Wildfire Update-3 contained

The Monsoon has made quick work out of a few fires on the Coconino National Forest. Spokesman George Jozens says the Seep Fire near the San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff, Bristow Fire near Munds Park and the Deer Fire near CC Cragin Reservoir are out. All three received rain over the weekend. The Platypus Fire and Rhino Fire near Sedona slowed dramatically over the weekend. The Platypus Fire is at 700-acres and the Rhino Fire is at 330-acres. Jozens says fire activity has slowed, but some smoke is showing. The Surveyor Fire in Oak Creek Canyon remains unchanged at 10-acres.
