| Game and Fish is holding an elk viewing workshop at Mormon Lake Lodge on Saturday, Aug. 18th. The workshop includes a presentation and a field trip to watch elk at Mormon Lake. Mormon Lake is one of the two only natural lakes in Arizona. During late summer and early fall, hundreds of elk can be observed at the site and along Lake Mary Road. The workshop is $10 a person; kids 12 years and under are free. Spotting scopes will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring binoculars, water, snacks, and to wear appropriate clothing.
