After only a year and a half of employment, Sedona Police Chief David McGill has announced that he’s a finalist to the police chief position in Peoria. McGill and City Manager Justin Clifton have agreed that whether McGill gets the job in Peoria or not, the search for a new police chief should begin. McGill has agreed to stay on until a replacement has been found, if he doesn’t get the Peoria position.
