Prescott National Forest fire crews responded to several fires caused by lightning over the weekend. Officials say the majority occurred in the Crown King area and all were doused quickly. They also had fires along I-17 and in the Prescott Basin. The Creek Fire, between Thumb Butte Road and Iron Springs Road was kept to under an acre. The blaze was 100% contained by Sunday night.
