Two juveniles caught violating forest closure order

Saturday, Navajo County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Forest Service Road 135 in Show Low in reference to a vehicle driving in the forest while closed for fire restrictions. Officials say two juveniles were arrested for violation of the closure. The vehicle was towed, and the juveniles were turned over to their parents. The public is reminded that failure to obey forest closures and fire restrictions could result in up to a $10,000 fine and or up to 6-months in jail.
