Kellogg’s Honey Smacks cereal linked to a multistate Salmonella outbreak

Kellogg’s Honey Smacks cereal is being recalled after being linked to a multi-state Salmonella outbreak.  Yesterday, the Kellogg Company recalled their 15.3 oz. and 23 oz. packages of Kellogg’s Honey Smacks cereal with a “best if used by” date from June 14, 2018 through June 14, 2019. Center for Disease Control Officials say throw the cereal away, or return it to the place of purchase for a refund. The CDC says 73-people have been reported sickened from the cereal in 31 states and 24-people have been hospitalized. No deaths have been reported.
