Most historic wildfires occur in June/Most are human caused

Out of the 9 historic wildfires in Arizona since 1990, 7 have occurred in June and of the 9, six were human caused. June 25-th, 1990 was the Dude Fire; June 18-th 2001 the Rodeo-Chediski Fire; June 17-th, 2003 the Aspen Fire; June 21-st, 2005 the Cave Creek Complex Fire; June 20-th, 2010 the Schultz Fire; May 8-th, 2011 the Horseshoe 2 Fire; May 11-th, 2011 the Wallow Fire; June 28-th, 2013 the Yarnell Hill Fire and May 20-th, 2017 the Slide Fire. The Dude, Cave Creek Complex and Yarnell Hill Fires were the three fires caused by lightning; the others could have been prevented.
